We want to recognize that ICIC has brought peace and harmony in our homes and this has reduced the burden on Government in settling domestic violence. Through evangelization by ICIC, crime rate in our society has drastically reduced.

ICIC taught me to pray. My only prayer was Sunday Mass. Now I have daily personal prayer too, where I hear God talking to me. I come out of personal prayer refreshed and recreated. I am glad I can meet God in personal prayer and in Mass.

I want to thank God for making it possible to have a life-changing ministry in Uganda. My life has never been the same after I joined ICIC sometime back. The way I was raising my children also changed for the better. It all started with me going to a Bible study weekend. I learnt to take God by His word. God is real to me and indeed He is in his word. Thank you very much friends for bringing Jesus into my life and my family

When I visited with the team in Uganda, we met with a widow whose arm had been severely injured by a man she tried to stop from stealing the family’s only source of food. The man was allowing his goat to feed from her family garden; when she tried to stop him, he severed her arm with a machete. The widow was rushed to the hospital, leaving the woman’s 14-year old son alone to care for his four younger brothers and sisters. ICIC volunteers stepped in to help, bringing bags of grain to the family and watching out for them until the mother was healthy enough to return home. They also visited the woman in the hospital to pray with her and to assure her of her family’s safety. When we met, several months after her release from the hospital, the widow was more grateful to ICIC than her words could express; but her smile and tears said it all.

I had heard about ICIC for a long time preaching the love of God but I did not give it much attention. That love of God become real to me when ICIC loved me practically by saving me and my three children from starvation, they gave food. They said they did it because they love Jesus in us. I decided to love the Jesus of ICIC because he saved me and my children from starvation.

ICIC gave me a family, I don't have parents, blood brothers, sisters or cousins. I lived a lonely life. One day Aloysius invited me to a Challenge Weekend where I experienced the love of God. I was challenged to be the first to extend the love of God to other people. I have been doing that and it has given me a wide family. In one day I can have ten people calling on my phone

Through CIC we have learned how to forgive, how to love and care for others, how to be humble, how to seek God in prayer, and how to be human beings who can love those who are difficult to love. We have learned servant leadership. We have built a community of brothers and sisters

I am a teacher at Mitandi Secondary School. For me, workplace conflict had finished me. My problem was hitting back at every staff member who seemed to disturb me. When I attended Christ at workplace seminar at my school, I developed a different approach, the Christ approach to mistreatment at workplace. The situation changed. I applied patience calmness to my everyday interaction with people even my husband. This decreased the conflict in my life. I did not at that moment have money for the seminar but I was accepted to attend for free. I was told our friends in USA are supporting us.

I own a small coffee plantation. I learned from ICIC that my workers are human beings who need to be treated with dignity and care. I treat them much better now and they are happier and work harder.

I glorify the Lord for bringing radio evangelization of ICIC ministry in Uganda. I discovered God through radio preaching. It's been so powerful and life changing for me. The preaching over the radio addressed my life situation. God became real to me. I was compelled to leave my friends who were misleading me. I am happy I decided so. I have new friends who build me now.

My name is Joseph, a beneficiary of ICIC. This is to thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting ICIC in Uganda. I was a Catholic from childhood but Jesus was not my personal savior. I was in illicit marriage for thirteen years and I did not mind. Sin had separated me from God and my family was full of fighting and quarreling. My wife and I attend Marriage and Family Renewal Programs of ICIC and now we are teachers of couples.

ICIC was the door for my salvation. In fact, it came for me. I started by hearing about it over the radio. They would preach and invite people for conferences and weekend programs. I first went alone for a couple’s weekend and fortunately I was accepted despite going alone. While I was at the couples’ weekend they taught about the ten commandments of marriage. I realized I was breaking all of them and marriage was miserable. It was filled with hatred and resentment. I requested the teacher to redo the talk for me and my wife the next time. We visited him and he taught us. Our marriage was healed. Now we are a happy couple. Thank you, brothers and sisters, for sponsoring these programs. – Godfrey

I want to thank God and ICIC. I have never got chance to be at ICIC functions. My work schedule is very tight but I am very loyal to listening to radio programs. The preaching is very relevant to my situation. I listen to all the four FM stations where ICIC preaches. I was wondering how ICIC gets funds to be on all four FM radio stations. I was told by one of the leaders that the program is sponsored. I want to thank you who sponsor this. God bless you, you are saving many people. I was saved by the preaching at the radio when the preacher said that when I don’t forgive those who hurt me, I keep poison my vital organs and it keeps killing me slowly. I no longer hold grudges and I don’t demand to be asked for forgiveness before I forgive. I live happily now. It's hard for anyone to torture me with their insults.

I am one of the people who benefited from ICIC Radio evangelization. In fact my whole family was changed by this ministry. We listen to the radio preaching which restored our family unity and prayer. We care for one another in the family now and there is peace in our home. Personally, I learned to accept everyone in the family and be patient with them. This stopped my headache and stress. I am at peace now. I want to thank God very much for the evangelical radio programs of ICIC
